What happens next
We will look into your complaint and send you our final response in writing.
If we have not sent you a final response within eight weeks, or you are unhappy with the response we give, you can take your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Details are below.
Our principal, Rainbow Connected Limited
Kompare Limited is an appointed representative of Rainbow Connected Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. As our principal, Rainbow Connected Limited is responsible for us, including how complaints about Kompare are handled.
Kompare Limited is entered on the Financial Services Register under reference 794660. Rainbow Connected Limited's reference is 749881. You can check both on the Financial Services Register.
Complaints about a broker or a policy
If your complaint is about a quote, a policy or the service you had from a broker we introduced you to, that broker handles it. Brokers authorised by the FCA have their own complaints process, set out in the documents they send you.
If you are not sure who to complain to, contact us and we will tell you.
The Financial Ombudsman Service
The Financial Ombudsman Service is a free, independent service that settles complaints between consumers and financial businesses.
You can generally refer your complaint to them once you have our final response, or after eight weeks if we have not sent one. You normally have six months from the date of our final response to do so. The Ombudsman will tell you whether it can look at your complaint.
